I grew up in a small town where there wasn’t much to do, so you went to the next town over or just spent your nights playing music on the beach. Even though they didn’t start out hits, writing songs always came natural to me. At the ripe age of 11 I sat down at a piano and wrote my first song. Little did I know, that four chord song would be the start of a beautiful relationship between a girl and her art.
Music has always felt like it was delicately twirled in my DNA somewhere and no matter how hard I tried or how hard it gets, the desire for music and to create it never goes away.
So, heres the thing. All I want to do is tap the toe of a listener as well as connect with the inner soul. So, you could say I capture a toe-thinker kind of human and I’m kinda ok with that. If you’d like to put me into a list of genres, I would be considered singer/songwriter/pop.
